For music I can only say so much:
The tracks are quite varied, but nevertheless unmistakably "Bastille".
(Not an adjective, I know ...)
I especially the first track "The fall (...)", "The Driver", "Torn Apart I and II" and have "Axe to Grind" fallen.
I'm really impressed with how quickly they can deliver new, audible material without being boring!
The occasional change of style that they perform auf'm mixtape, you are better than me to face - I did not think, and I was surprised rather than Torn Apart II in very electronic garment came from my headphones.
This may not please everyone, but it's just a mixtape and not a concept album!
I also think it's great that you can participate in it, as they try and also the features are well chosen and arouse interest, to hear more from them.
The only drawback and the reason for the deduction of points is the packaging.
I know it is "only" a mixtape, not a full album, but I was amazed as the Single of KWABS (Walk) was supplied in plastic wrap and the mixtape of Bastille in a very simple cardboard cover, which you can insert the CD ,
For me that was at Lana del Rey's new album the reason me to opt out of the deluxe edition ... I can easily to zerbeulenden cardboard sleeves that let the CD rack that emptiness (as too narrow), not from.
Therefore deducted a star.
Nevertheless, this mixtape is absolutely recommended - both for lovers and explorers of the band!
