The cooperation with the new Producer Butch Walker fits like chalk and cheese. The distinctive voice in combination with Gins exceptional songwriting talent will hopefully lead to the fact that it is perceived and appreciated in Europe. "Gravel & Wine" is one of the best rock records of the year 2012/2013. The girl should be careful that they do not staged her "bad girl" attitude beyond measure. I think it's indeed fundamentally sympathetic, this unadjusted incidence, but at some point it might also annoy. And, I have to give another reviewers law, the recording quality of the CD is modest: All much (read: MP3 triggered Loudness War) too loud, so you can not hear very loud music with good hi-fi equipment, because it's then is rather too shrill. But that does not prevent the 5 star rating for a grandiose rock CD. This plate shall be heard in ten years even with indulging in a little smile!
