1) First, there is this Standard Edition with 16 tracks, available on CD.
2) There is also a deluxe edition with 23 or 24 tracks. Here on the Amazon 23-track version was available [now no more!]. On iTunes, there is the 24-track version. Why Track 1 more? More on that later. This deluxe edition ONLY is available as download version.
3) end of the year there is an "Illuminated Star Projection" edition type with up to 28 tracks. So far, this is only for pre-order in the US Water Towers Music. According to rumors, this is to be distributed by Sony in Europe. Whether this will also be available on Amazon? We do not know. Neither one knows about the included additional tracks. In this box a coupon code for Z + app you want to include.
4) Now to the 24-track deluxe edition. It was on iTunes the track "No Time for Caution" added due to many requests / complaints from listeners. Was asked about the musical passage, in which Cooper docks onto the rotating Endeavour after it was damaged (a prominent music scene). This was initially included in either of the first soundtrack versions. As mentioned, now available in the iTunes version. But it is to be noted: This track corresponds in no way 100% of the scene from the movie. There is another "variant" The music in the film version was probably only in film post-production and is not one track before!
5) There are, incidentally, still the track "Dark Day One", something similar to the missing docking sequence. This is a online bonus track and can on various video platforms (eg. "You" -tube) are found.
Has a grand, impressive score, although it does not have the classic tunes like Harry Potter and Pirates of the Caribbean, but its own character and perfectly accompanies the film: From my opinion bes ***** enes publication strategy apart
