This is exactly what is here, unfortunately, happen. As the proud owner of the previous model I had really looking forward to the new waste collector made by Hailo. Unfortunately, however, some shortcomings presented directly represents the first use which had not (or at least not in such serious form) of the predecessor.
First of all, here works the "invisibility" of the trash bag under certain conditions. The garbage bags must fit, be smooth and wrinkle free. Taking Commercial or even plastic bags (!) This does not work quite so with the hiding places. It remains to see a small edge of the trash bag. This may not be dramatic, but previously it has just worked out, so I find it very disappointing.
Another point is that the handle of the bucket is designed unfavorable. That is, if you want to take the bucket by the handle from the waste bin, then you have the planned construction (namely bags smoothly and to fix the handle with a rubber band) deal and instead the bag herumknautschen to the both sides of the handle and then fix it with the rubber band. This one gets "Geknubbel" on the edge. Very ugly! As the bucket extraction is planned in a trash-filled by the manufacturer, I still remain a mystery.
Otherwise, opening up to me not the recess at the bottom of the garbage can. Thus, the container does not have a flat bottom, but an approximately 5 cm wide and deep "notch" in the middle of the floor (roughly ... I have just the trash bags in the originally planned variant - without that I manage to connect with bracket can - used and in use, so now I do not want to start a new garbage bag, just to make the CM Specification)!
Otherwise, of course, continue the positive characteristics (easy opening by stable pedal ring, and relatively silent shutting down of the lid stay to mention. Unfortunately, these are not sufficient to improve the bottom line yet.
So you could say only: The "older" model was (despite the caveats that one may be the heavy trash comes to meet, because the plastic ring has solved due to the weight) clearly thought out and practical than the revamped model. Too Bad !!!
