Version very detailed, sometimes too!

This book is a new rewrite of Pride and Prejudice, from the point of view of Darcy. Many aspects of life are studied Darcy closer to our delight as his love for his sister or his friendship with Bingley. You know all the intimate thoughts of dear Darcy and know his life in great detail. Too perhaps elsewhere. I must say that some parties appeared to me an exaggerated length and that some elements are not really interested me, what worries me a little for the next two books in which I hope, boredom will not take over, as was the case here for the last pages.

The introduction of new characters, such Fletcher, the brilliant valet Darcy, still brings a welcome breath crossing during which Darcy is not in Lizzy company and where his keen mind missing us too. But I must say that there is something that irritates me in many austeneries and that is found here is the need to want at all costs to introduce famous personalities of the time, especially Beau Brummell. I think it is to deny the simplicity of Jane Austen, one of its greatest qualities.

It may be noted in any case the impeccable work of the author, both in research and in writing as respect for the original work by hand, although some scenes are clearly unnecessary.
