I changed too soft mattress for a mattress too hard. I slept very bad result, too little and I was completely aching in the morning, I had a bad back shoulders all day. In short, a nightmare. I thought I'll get used to but after more than a month, no change. I tried several things to improve my sleep but nothing worked. I did not want to invest in a mattress topper overpriced so I finally opted for the latter. I was a bit skeptical at the time of purchase given the thickness of the foam. But ultimately, it is enough to catch the "hardness" of my mattress. I have no more pain in the morning, I sleep like a baby :) As no cover, I placed it under my mattress. It perfectly fits my mattress 160cm. I highly recommend it.
