The first pages show what is meant by metaphysics extremely bright and clear way. But after this first quarter of the book, the author picks by offering a personal view of things, especially the times we live in, vision that I found very poor, even referring to me (that is to say the level) some mishmash to Dan Brown ... It's a shame because Rémi Brague is certainly very learned and lives up to him, but he should restrict itself to be the ferryman of the giants who preceded rather than embarking on the unknown of personal thought which remains anchored to the ocean floor.
