XL better than simple version for more stable and a better ability (we are only 2 at home but with the other it felt to spend my time filling the carafe ...
The only problem, no longer fit into the inner door of the refrigerator, unlike the other.
The Meter indicator ensures perfect quality filration: it measures three factors (volume of filtered water / water hardness / life) and determines the optimal time to change the cartridge. I find this important system because I know these pitchers are fine but can be harmful when the cartridge is not changed regularly enough: no questions to ask with the! The only catch: my previous version (less capacity), the Meter indicator broke down after 1 year, but it took a little water so maybe it is because of that. Finally I continued to use the carafe being careful to change the cartridge much every month ... until it falls (less stable) and breaks.
I use filtered water for: drinking, kettle (= no need to clean the kettle full of limestone with over Limestone) and iron ...
