very good 1 Volume 1

The excerpt above shows the history of dragon and gives an observation of the general situation of Alagaësia, countries where most of the action takes place in this tetralogy. You learn very quickly what are the different peoples living in the region, who sided with the strength and the others who, inevitably, are the dark side of the force :)
This first volume begins on hubcaps and action will remain present in the pages.

The author's style is simple, fluid, humor regularly punctuated the history and the chapters are quite short, well-paced always slightly leaving the reader wanting more at the end of the chapters.

The characters are endearing. Each character is well described and has its small boutique.
I really enjoyed discovering the relationship between a dragon and the dragon and driving it to all who do not always succeed the first time.

The secret is in the heart of this book: almost everyone has secrets and few are revealed in this first volume. This leaves much room for subsequent volumes !!!

However, there is little surprise in this book. All the tricks of the standard fantasy are drawn: we often think back to reading other books of the same kind which are happening similar events. For example, the young heroes who shape while fleeing his birthplace grumbled: why me?

In conclusion, good fantasy called youth that can also satisfy the greatest. A story not really original but with which I have however taken many plaisir.Un first volume which can only make them want to read more.
