The bell is super processed, the range is (for my purposes) more than adequate, even down to the basement, which is equipped with very thick walls. Whether you need as many ringtones (48), I do not know. The only stupid thing is: When selecting the ringtones I can not previous, so you have to go through more completely. But that does not make it so often. (Only the first time and after changing batteries.
