Good Morning, I have been here a purchase decision always very much simplifies the reviews, but now I will try to give just that to help others. The Xbox 360 Elite I have now for about six months. Ample time to have tested the console through its paces. The first positive impressions were the good quality of the hardware and the delivery. Immediately after unpacking, you can start to gamble. The gamepad is very comfortable to hold and it's fun to play with. The vibration is very strong and the quality makes a very good impression. I've played GoW, CoD4, Bioshock, The Darkness, SoF Payback, PGR4 and a few more games. The graph to the console is capable (I play in 1080p), is almost unbelievable for almost one and a half years (?) Old console. I have the same Games largely angetestet on my PC and can notice any major differences (and which cost more than four times as much). In some games you have indeed separated Mikroruckler (particularly in The Darkness) or the load times are a little long, but that's from game to game as so disturbing I have never felt it. I think that for the console platforms of this generation still some very interesting titles will hit the market and much potential there in the XBox 360. XBox Live, I have tested: one month (a one-month Gold membership test is included in purchase) namely with CoD4. That was all in all pretty fun and you learn so many new people. Other games, however, have rather less convinced me in MP. It's just a matter of taste, I'm actually more of SP-player. Since the trial membership has expired, I have only the silver membership. Which is free and you can also still access the marketplace and download eg demos. Another plus is the great sound card that has the XBox 360. I have the console with an optical digital cable to my 5.1 sound system and it is simply bombastic. Meanwhile I look DVDs also only about 360, because the sound is simply better than on my PC. The only complaint is the already certainly often mentioned volume. I do not know what they've since installed a / more fans, but the 5 x 120mm fans in my PC are not so loud. Maybe it just did not circumvent, because the space in the console is so low. In addition, I have an additional fan stuck (fear of ROD) on the back of the console. But then does not have much longer. On the other hand I do not mind the noise too much, because I'm not a freak Silent and also drowned out my system operating noise. But friend have often drawn the comparison with a hair dryer on land. Another smaller criticism is the huge power supply. That's almost half the size of the console itself. Is indeed in good hands under the table and so that you do not see, but since Microsoft could use some work on it. Conclusion: Despite the two defects the console in my view is thoroughly recommended. The game selection is vast and the technology is even now future-proof. Also to watch DVD, the XBox is because the image is the LCD upscaled automatically accordingly. So simply looks good. Add to that the remote control and the multimedia platform is complete.
