Connection and start-up:
The hob is securely packed in Styrofoam and cardboard boxes on.
The magnification of the cut I made 190 E with a Bosch Multifunction Tool PMF. Advantage of this, the worktop must not be removed and dusted as opposed to a circular saw much less.
Then the enclosed clamp ment is being bolted to the sides and used the hob.
The electrical connection is effected by means of screw in the stove outlet. The box can be connected to 1 or 2 phases. A sufficiently long connection cable is already attached to the hob. Five Stars ***** !
First Impression:
The operation is the way I have imagined. Simple, logical, safe, fast, comfortable. The rotary control is precise and reliable. The touch fields on the hob, the connection of the power-ups or the timer function well.
That the heating power compared with ceramic hobs is excellent, must not be mentioned. All known advantages of induction course to take for this cooktop. The fine control of power and the "brutal onset thrust at full throttle" but are quite unusual, if you just hotplates or ceramic hobs was used previously. To this end, also 5 star *****!
What I do not like:
The susceptibility to scratching is actually given. Of course, these will emerge over time, but after a single short very selective purification with a kitchen sponge arisen at the point small scratches. I'm curious how the pots and pans goes on in everyday use. I think at a suggested retail of more than 1700 of the manufacturer should be able to build in a scratch-resistant glass. Therefore, unfortunately only 3 stars ***!
Conclusion:
So far I am very satisfied with my purchase. The hob is different from TT 5386 only in the stainless steel frame. In '54, the glass plate is higher than the frame, which facilitates cleaning, as small crumbs can be wiped off the hob a lot easier.
Thus, 4 stars ****!
I will update this review if the scratch resistance still arise regarding other negative points or the device should show other quirks.
