I tried the Airfloss over two days and each time he has "fired" me bloody wounds in the gums. I normally use an electric toothbrush by Philips, flossing and even normal toothbrushes in medium strength -> I've never had bloody gums!
The device has a hopper for the water and a launch button to fire away. Once you press the firing button, comes a fairly loud bang and the device shoots out a mixture of water and air. Now can you point and shoot to the interdental spaces. I had with a loud bang just a bad feeling that had then confirmed bloody. I have an angle specifically targeted further away, precisely targeted between the teeth -> it was all nothing. Either there was bleeding or not taken.
For me the device is unfortunately useless. Because of the great scope of supply (equipment, storage tank, 3 Exchange nozzles) I go up to 2 star instead of a star. But for me it has not worked. But I can well imagine that the unit 5 stars "value" when it is applicable to other people me.
- The device itself is well made
- There is a 28 day money back guarantee
- The handling is very simple (water pure and fire away)
- Price is quite high, even for changing nozzles (Philips HX8002 / 05 Sonicare Air Floss replacement nozzles 2-pack)
