I am pleased that Virginia Despentes is at the top of its literary form. The story of Vernon Subutex rings true, the characters that dot the novel too, and dialogues are sharpened, as close to reality. If one has over forty, it is easily recognized in the suffering of the characters face the loss of their youthful illusions. I look forward to the future.
