- Graphics (4/5): The graph is highly dependent on the settings. You can get at the lowest settings actually a graphic which is hardly exceeds that of Dungeon Keeper 2 you get at the highest settings, a graphic that certainly is not a technological revolution, but nice to look at. The creatures are something ekig that falls in the imaginative design but hardly on. Especially as you zoom eh rarely close enough to the really noticing.
- Sound (4/5): The sound is great. While there are no huge selection of background music, but that would only interfere here anyway. But one hears everywhere a lot of noise that can affect the game alive. Is it the einstürzenen in the distance walls when the Imps open up a new room, guide the really agonizing screams from the torture chamber or the cultists who thoughtfully in the library talking to himself. As an extra treat, there is then there's Richard Ridings. The great voice actor has already spoken in the English original mentor in Dungeon Keeper 1 and 2. We are already talking about the biggest shortcoming of the sounds: Language is held exclusively in English. This can, however, cope thanks subtitles. The entire rest of the game is of course available in German.
-Spielspaß (5/5): Genial. It takes everything you love about Dungeon Keeper, and improves consistently. So there are now 3 small techtrees that can be called by the sins explore one extended. This new switch rooms freely, improve existing facilities, traps, spells, rituals and more freely switch. At the end of each techtrees expects a 3 strong Titans, one for each Techtree, one can conjure for themselves.
But besides that, you realize all the improvements. So all creatures are now actually important because each character can use a flush. So the Crackpot is indeed for fighting rather unsuitable, but essential to brew potions, the cultist is fighting rather healers and supporters, so he helps in the archive while exploring of sins, and leads the powerful rituals in the sanctuary. Each creature falls into one of two categories: Reason Gifted and beast. Rational beings can do the whole work incurred in the dungeon, train in the garrison and go after the defeat KO. Beasts are fierce creatures that can not do any work, but give it the fight mercilessly everything and keep fighting until the last heartbeat.
There are far too many small details that have been introduced here as that could be calling them all in one review here. Just try it yourself!
Other (3/5): But there are still some small points that are addressed. These are: You actually get an Early Acess title here. A string of bad luck cases has led to the developers were unfortunately forced to publish this game now. And it shows. In many places it stroßt before Bugs (as of 04.07.2015) and the translations are due to a problem with the translation team still partly made with the Google translator, so jump one in English of the sensible "Load" button so "shop" for Scores in German with the "Last" in the eye. Not wrong, but unangemesssen in this context. Even the Survival mode, the skirmishes against the AI and multiplayer are still placeholders. But all that will soon be rectified. In the case of translations even morning.
In general, the developers are working feverishly to finish the game. So alone 8 patches came within the first 48 hours on Steam, now, about 5 days later we are already at 15, and the first "big" Patch stands for morning already in the starting blocks. A map editor has already been announced, but not yet delivered.
Conclusion (4/5):
The game is awesome. A worthy successor to all the Dungeon Keeper fans, a great trial for everyone who wants to play a slightly different time strategy game. Keep only in mind: The game is not completely finished. Give the developers still 1-2 months, and you will certainly one of the best strategy games in your hands you've ever played it. Now at the moment it's just something for real hardcore fans. But even at this stage makes the game quite a lot of fun.
