The problem is that when you've already read and reread the "Unfinished Tales Legends" magic to hard to operate again. Not that the book is bad! On the contrary, I can only recommend it highly enough to those who have not yet read this exciting story and extremely well narrated the life of Hurin and his descendants, especially in this version "deluxe" beautifully illustrated (with map fold-in support).
By cons, unlike Zelphalya and as Corven, I do not think the new translation by Martin Delphine really worth the investment for those who have already read this story in "Unfinished Tales and Legends" or the few paragraphs added to this "long" version of "Narn i Chîn Hurin", the tale of the Children of Hurin, in short I was not very sensitive to the appendices of the book that precisely explains the differences with previous issues of this "Narn". And I knew in advance what would actually happen to our poor friend Hurin over the pages, even when removes much of the charm and intrigue, even though my children, they are able to see for the tenth Once a movie or a cartoon without tiring ...
In short, for me 2 options:
- Lovers of Tolkien Lord of the Rings or you do not know the story: go ahead and buy this book you really will not be disappointed!
- You know the story from having already read elsewhere: frankly save you buying this book unless you are a passionate and / or a collector ...
Sincerely,
Felarof
PS: My 5 star therefore go to the first category of player!
