Despite some of the negative reviews I decided to buy the original bike mount for my 62s. I fastened by means of the cable tie to the handlebar. At first I thought, in addition to put a piece of old inner tube as anti-skid pad between cable ties and handlebar, tried it but once without.

After yesterday's "tasting tour" (65 km above field, forest and meadow paths, single trails, trips on stairs and cobbles) I'm thrilled. The device has been reliably maintained. Nothing wiggled or slipped. For safety's sake, I have my Garmin anyway additionally secured with a safety rope to the handlebar, should something break on the mount ... but I'm really surprised at how well the holder fulfills its purpose.
