- The upper thread breaks more often from time to sew together multiple layers (eg cuffs, Nici + cotton). Annoying. Here you have to gaanz slowly sew a tear to prevent.
- For sewing cuffs, the machine is a bit inappropriate. I had read an ancient Singer Futura 2001, which could be at the bottom fold, so you could push through the whole fabric under the machine. That was great for cuffs! Unfortunately, the Singer Confidence can not, even though a lot of machines are still built like this. Pity!
- The reverse key hangs often. You must then wait one second and then press again to feel it, then mostly klappts again. But this can be quite a burden.
Otherwise, the machine for me as a hobby seamstress is very good. Super I find the many stitch patterns and that the machine is so easy to use. Threading works great. The machine is considerably quieter than my ancient Singer Futura, but it is also much slower. Fill the coil and switch is also easy. So thumbs still high for this machine!
