Previously I had the Navigon 2410, which already had old maps and I wanted to pay not nearly as much for a map update as a new navigation system with free map updates.
This was suggested to me to succeed, according to the partly very bad reviews (which are mostly all related to the installation, etc.), I nevertheless ordered with a stomach ache.
Now I can but this absolutely does not understand.
1. SD card I do not need (although the same in order), there's about 700 MB on the internal memory are free
2. Registration / Software update / map update was within one hour (!!) done, just follow step by step.
3. Just yesterday there was again a new map update (2013.30), and this was done within an hour.
Thus, the panic was in this respect absolutely nothing, just as the SD card, I now do not need ...
Until now, I was a few times in order to navigate (as had compared the Navigon 2410 and a Tom Tom One CE) and I am absolutely delighted to now (except for two points.)
+ GPS is immediately found, even in the apartment where I had absolutely no reception with the other two Navis.
+ So far me the right path was exactly suggested expects very fast to (intentionally procedure)
+ Processing
+ Operation
+ As the only provider 22 countries in CE version, ie. Croatia is attending (important for holidays), with the other 19 countries only.
- Annoying sound when pressing the buttons. I've helped me so: On the main screen press the volume button and set to Off, on the navigation map is also a volume button, click there once already and ists again loud and the voice heard and this is now my 2nd Negativpkt.
- The voices, at least the TTS voices are a bit strange, checked and indistinct, also somewhat quiet, have now taken the German voice "with which it is very pleasant.
. Could except for the two points so far not find anything negative, the navigation is very clear, it is all displayed perfectly so that you really can not proceed - thus doing the Navi what it should and was the installation or update very intuitive.
Because of these 2 negative points. I forgive 4 stars.
The surcharge of 100 to 3490 (. Glass display, capacitive touch screen, better resolution, thin, nude bracket) it was me then but not worth because I have apparently caught a "good" and thus keep: o)
