Hello everybody,
because I wrote so much, there is the Conclusion times straight away and the details of the connection:
Conclusion:
Per
+ Shaver is pleasantly quiet
+ The S9711 / 31 is very easy to hold
+ Pleasant weight
+ Everything is well made and looks wertig
+ Cleaning station also operates very quietly and can also be operated at night
+ Travel safeguard against being activated is a useful feature
+ Full featured trimmer offers various adjustment options from 1mm to 5mm
+ Fast change the unit thanks SmartClick
+ Very good shave without irritation
+ Even better feel on the skin can be achieved with shaving
Needs improvement:
-. 4 hours cleaning including drying could go a little faster by equip.
- As with many other Philips shavers should be accompanied by a cap on the shaving head.
- The price is in the upper class but shines with a super shaving razor and already comes the blade shaver pretty close
All in all, I forgive therefore 5 stars and highly recommend the razor despite the price.

The packaging

... Here was an Origami Master at work! All parts are tidy and well in small cartons and boxes made of cardboard and wrapped each cm was used. Apart from the protective cover of the shaver has entirely dispensed with plastic packaging, very good!

What I miss at first glance is a cap on the shaving head, which it often is with other Philips shaving in order to preserve the precious blades from bumps and edges.
The components in detail:
- S9711 / 31, the 170g are extremely comfortable to hold and pleasingly light. The material transitions are worked without clean edges and gaps. The Unbutton have a noticeable pressure point, which not accidentally while shaving triggers. The display is easy to read. The razor leaves a high quality impression.
- Travel case is well made and the outer shell makes a water-repellent effect. In articulated a network is incorporated which allows moisture to dissipate. The shaver is well protected in the case and also the beard trimmer fit in Tyler incl.
- Trimmer, just as it did the razor is also very well made and here offers 5 adjustment of 1mm - 5mm
- Cleaning station, the good processing connects and provides first time some information symbols. In the operation there is little to go wrong. Inserting razor, and lock the shaver invites. The cleaning function is at your fingertips then optionally started. That was it already compact. The symbols provide information on the current status of what is being done (cleaning, drying, loading) and show this also each have a progress bar.
- User guide, who can read is a clear advantage. Everything is clearly explained and even the "Klipsdings" has a description, but more on that later. And who can not read can also be found on the basis of the many icons along well.
- Power supply, beautiful compact. Here, however, I would have a plug wished to could also have been twisted to use. This can already my 10years old dry shaver. So you have to look which way is up and down is always first time.
Shaving head
When I'm at it I also take the same times the shaving head apart. By separating razor he can be with a slight train upwards (do not turn!) And replace it with the trimmer. Thanks to the tongue and groove we get this again assembled in the correct position.
When I open the shaving head on one of the three sides we get to see three orange blade locks. Yes now it is clear what the Klipsdings is. Solved locking and exposed the blade carefully. Then we get to see sound the V-Track. What strikes me, there are two blades circles, each with different sized openings. I think so to be reported differently large and long hair and hunted down. The blade unit itself looks as if it was directly a Transformers movie sprung. So when the stubble not make the Gar I do not know further. :)
The blade bearings and the shaving head itself can be moved in all directions and so should all get along well ran.
Travel lock: Over a longer pressure on the on and off switch is a key lock active, prevents accidental switching.
Preparation before use
Charge:
Before I shave, I have the razor but make only times ready by I boot him and because of hygiene chic even in the cleaning station.
Here are the instructions discloses a point of displeases me. The shaver can not be used directly to the power supply, but can thus only be charged. To excuse is said that all the dry / wet razor (also other brands) are configured so that no one gets the idea to take the razor including power cables in the shower.
Cleaning:
Cleaning is pleasantly quiet of equip, so you this evening before going to sleep can even turn on. The drying time of around 4 hours, I feel to be quite long and must therefore be scheduled accordingly.
The time measurement reveals 4 hours 12Minuten and decelerates life. (And yes, I've been sitting by and waiting). But if you have time and again for a good book;)
Battery performance:
At 1% it has held for 60 minutes and 31 seconds at the highest level for daily use (7days)!
I did not expect that 50 minutes will be achieved at the highest speed level and also be greatly exceeded, great performance!
That's over 20% (10minutes) indicates more power than Philips for the S9711 / 31.
The shaving experience to 4 weeks of use
Dry hair:
The dry shaving goes well from equip and achieved a very good result and leaves no skin irritation. It is however important a circular movement, the only way to achieve an optimum result. The Philips shaver is pleasantly quiet.
Wet shave
For men who are struggling with skin irritation Philips Shaving is the perfect combination. Taking care of shaving cream and a comfortable shave Philips but without the razor burn an open blade shave.
The first thing is immediately noticeable that the shaver super pleasant slips through the face and moves almost by itself.
Amazingly, despite the overlay all the hairs are caught what I had not expected.

Since I use the Braun Series 9 9090cc have also, I am often asked what is now because better it I can give only one answer: No !!
In accessories, both razors differ because you just have to look at what you need. Philips currently costs for something more. The Philips takes much longer, however, for drying.
Both are from the shave very well and take nothing. The razors are but the handling just different and you have to look with which you are more familiar easy.
Here up and down movement encounters circular motion, the one like that, the others do, both I can recommend taking into account the points mentioned.
