I have read positive and negative reviews here I thought that I sometimes write what.
First: Yes it is true that the headset rushes at a certain volume BUT! only in combination with the virtual 7.1 sound card.
I use the headset with the Creative Sound Blaster sound card Z because the 60 ohm can be optimally controlled, with onboard sound cards it may be that can work around this not work well with 60 Ohm. (The maximum volume is then lower)
I bought my headset because my Beyerdynamics Custom One Pro with the headset gear is broken and I was not entirely satisfied by the general overall quality: the sound itself. Because this looks very Same here I thought I try it once. I must say that the sound quality is on a similarly high level!
After a couple of adjustments in the Sound menu of the Creative soundcard you have a very nice and pleasant sound with not too many good bass and treble.
Therefore, a good alternative to Custom One Pro headset with Gear (value approx 210).
The microphone headset is typical for TeamSpeak etc sufficient for audio recordings there are better alternatives.
What I miss in all the paraphernalia is a splitter for combined 3.5mm male to 3.5mm 1x microphone and 1x 3.5mm headphone otherwise everything you need available.
Conclusion: If you do not need the supplied sound card, you can access calm or alternatively access to the identical previous version. I am fully satisfied.

Here a supplement that should not be overlooked.
It makes a big difference which ear pads are used.
With the leather upholstery, the sound is much deeper and more powerful bass effect.
With the other ear pads the sound is a lot more clear and it lacks some bass.
