This sound card produces an exellent job. I needed a sound card that I can use both my landline and my laptop. The DAC produces an exellent job. I rediscover the sound with this. To really enjoy it I advise you to have good speakers or good headphones.
If your speakers are connected to jack, you need to buy an RCA jack to adptateur, there are available on amazon
Contrary to a comment I read driverspour Windows 8.1 are available on the site asus.
