Audio Technica ATH-SJ55 BK DJ headphone Rich was looking for a new headset for my Sony NWZ-A845 and after I was only disappointed by many headphones, my eyes fell on the Audio Technica. What was important to me: closed system, cable length max. 1.5m, foldable, easily and naturally kräfiger but clean sound. So I ordered the SJ5 via Amazon Marketplace and get the better successor model SJ55. My first impression: For the price but processed dibasic. What about the sound? At first he sounded very sharp, almost unbearable at votes, but that is lost over time. A bit on the EQ of the player set and WOW. The bass is very strong for the size of the membranes, although not as strong as the Sony MDR-XB700, but you dare not to this small headset. The centers even bring some width in the sound and in the ups and proper EQ setting you can go to the break-in period (very important) and not complain. There is only one gripe: The bow and the joints are made entirely of plastic. That does not break the impression immediately, but would make metal here better services and increase the value greatly.
Full buy recommendation! I have withdrawn because of the plastic bracket, or the joints a star.
Note: The 1.2 m long cable has a 3.5mm right angle plug. This is very important for mobile use, because it protects the headphone jack of the player !!!
