I have thought long back and forth whether I should buy myself this software. I convert more than 90% of my shots in grayscale. Most of the time using Lightroom 5, but also PS CC. The software for software to be Silver Effex Pro 2 yes. I sadly can not say because I am not willing to pay double the money for it (though one must say that Silverlight projects has sometimes only cost 80 Euro). I think the 107.- for this product yet already is fair, so yes finally to professional SW shots possible. I have tested it extensively and have to say that this is quite true. Did you look at first succeed in the little getting used to operate hineingefuchst with a few clicks and regulators really rich black and white motifs. The Presets (I refer only to "landscape") are well thought out, but partly also completely senseless. However, my absolute highlight is the analog film setting. Here you can from the best SW movies out there easily the look on his digital image transfer and settle in strength and intensity. Toll!
Now to the weakness that bothers me right. I take first place in the PS RAW processing before, then go into the PS mask. Will I then edit my picture directly from HP in Silver projects, it takes good 11/2 minutes until the image is loaded therein. Two times I even got the information the "Silver projects does not work". On the computing power of my PC, it is not, anyway. I'll be watching it on. All in all, Silver projects a very professional very good SW converter can be really fun. Lightroom will have to deal with me now less.
Greetings Björn
PS: In the gallery I have a picture set that I created using this software program. The wooden beams with shadows.
