This wide-angle I have been extensively tested with my two camcorders TM700 and TM900. The quality is very good. Of course there are distortion at the sides, but that is normal when there is not too much light, and 0.5x is much! With plenty of light to function optimally. I found that it works well with zoom, you can zoom in a bit and feel better.
