For quite some time I wanted to buy myself a gamepad, because I like to play for a car racing and other games like Prince of Persia. A gamepad is playing these games, of course, beneficial and makes the game much more interesting and exciting.
I opted for this gamepad, because my design, the price and the customer recessions have promised and I have to say I decided very good. I have previously examined so many gamepads at Media Markt and no one told me to really, because the buttons usually too cheap and unstable impacted or the shape and design were totally impractical and unwieldy.
Installation:
The gamepad was immediately recognized when connected to a computer's USB port and install the existing Windows software. Then I was able to play with it. To program the individual buttons you need a separate Softwar out there to download on the homepage of Saitek. Unfortunately, it is relatively large with over 200MB, but bothered me less because of my very fast Internet connection. Even without the software you can see the buttons of the gamepad in the games themselves (usually under Settings and control such as. In Need for Speed) to configure.
Style:
Locate the gamepad is very well designed and is actually (almost) identical to the X-Box 360 controllers. The gamepad is very good in the hand and all buttons are easily and quickly accessible. The cable is very long, I have not measured it, but it's definitely very long and in my opinion absolutely sufficient. The cable asks a USB port or by disconnecting the adapter (of Xbox port on USB) and an XBOX connection.
Quality:
The gamepad makes a very robust and high quality impression. I have not so stable and high quality gamepad with eg. Can find Media Markt. The buttons, the directional pad and the sticks have a very good tactile feedback and react as they shall- very quickly and without delay. The surface of the gamepad and the sticks are very fine and also make a very high-quality impression. The surface is somewhat rubbery and thus very slippery and very comfortable to hold.
Cyborg module:
I opted for this gamepad, because you can interchange the directional pad and the right stick through the Cyborg module. I find it very useful because in some games it would be fine and practical when the stick at the position of the directional pad would be, and vice versa. The module can be removed by pressing a button on the back of the pad and can then be set by simply pressing again in the gamepad. Before I was slightly skeptical Bestellugn whether this module holds good and stable, but I can assure you it holds bombproof and here nothing wobbles.
Conclusion: I can wholeheartedly recommend this gamepad really. A tiny deduction I give him but still because of the lack of included software that you can download however. Despite this, he gets a perfect score of 5 stars and I would buy this gamepad also immediately.
