Having already read the anatomy of Truby scenario and how to write the script of sf and fantasy Orson Card, I was somewhat skeptical about the utility of this book. Indeed if you are looking for tips to design fantasy stories, this book brings nothing concrete well, especially compared to the two references that I just citer.D'ailleurs sometimes I had the impression that the author pumping from both sources. By cons, everything about the remarks on the French style itself is interesting. Especially when the book compares the drafts and final texts of great forms of French writers. However, regarding some advice, keep a certain distance, all "by ear" did not seem to me necessarily relevant. By advocating fluidity and pleasant may be at the expense of some strong language. Let's say that at least it invites us to reflection, which is not bad. In addition, the book made me think of the style for administrative reviews that give tips for successful general culture tests. A style probably well in every respect, which we can not fault (except some shells lying around) but lacks life and personality. In this sense whatsoever "Write" King, or truby and Card are much more challenging because one feels the leg and the author's personal view.
