I'll start with the positive points:
- The installation and the connection to the port speed is very fast and easy.
- The battery has a very good performance: In normal use, the Speedphone does not have several days in the charging cradle.
- The display is resolved properly.
But the negatives outweigh:
- Empties the battery and the phone goes out, the Speedphone loses the telephony settings and you have to choose, for example, the transmission number.. The reallocated sporadically in between, but after the phone was each time. This sucks immensely!
- Missed Calls must be called individually to stop the flashing of the call button. Merely calling the list (as with any other phone !!) is not enough. It's fun when you come home and have to click on a series of calls.
- The phone book is not a single click (usually D-pad down) but must call on contacts, own / our contacts are called. If you use a common phone book for several telephones (so the system will explicitly advertised), it also waits three seconds until the phone book entries are displayed. Whenever you enter the Phonebook entries to be re-downloaded. Totally absurd.
- The quality of the loudspeaker in handsfree mode is the worst that I have ever experienced on a phone. It borders on impudence to bring something in 2014 on the market.
- If you select a number using Redial or a speed dial button, it occurs regularly that the connection is made, neither party can be heard but.
- When during a telephone call received another call and you ended the first call, the new call does not reach the Speedphone. So you have to accept the new still running, then the first stop, and then the second to continue during the first call. Any other phone that I know, then also receives an incoming call, if you have the old only ended when the phone rings.
Only a matter of taste and therefore not in the standings, but is worth mentioning that the available range of ring tones are a joke. That one may assume its own ringtones is meant love, in the recording quality but so bad that this function must be regarded as non-existent.
Unfortunately, I have my two copies of the Speed Phones given too long a chance yet to convince me of its quality, to make them even to return. I now have my Gigaset ISDN phones in operation and am so unprogressive they may be, satisfied. They are mature and of decent quality, which I unfortunately can not say 806 IP via the sinus.
