This Bluetooth speaker is cute and fun but, as regards sound, surprising compared to its size, very good quality, clear and powerful. It comes with a micro USB cable to charge the battery and an NFC plate for easy fitting with some smartphones. The user manual is in six languages, one of which is French, and it is very easy to understand. It is also possible to connect the "Donut" with a Bluetooth device functionality using an auxiliary 3.5mm cable (not included). I tried it and it works perfectly. 3.5 mm the same input may be used for a helmet. This chamber is very easy to use. There is an on / off button, volume + and volume -. It has an integrated microphone for handsfree operation for conference call or in connection with a smartphone, but I have not tried this.
I tested it in Bluetooth mode with my Kindle Fire HD and my laptop with Windows 8.1: both have connected immediately without worries. Very good range operation even in the house through stone walls. The battery lasts eight hours for sure and instructed in an hour with a quick wall charger (the unit can be used during charging, which is a plus).
I tried several TaoTronics products. I think they are all very high quality and very innovative. This enclosure funny rather justifies its reasonable price and compares very favorably with other models of similar specifications. I recommend!
