I own three Gigandet G 2: these, the Silver and Dark Blue. All 3 have the same design, plant and size and only differ in color. Qualitatively they are really top for this price, I wonder how to make such a thing at this price. All 3 plants run equally reliable and proceed with an accuracy of about 1 min / week. The watches carry, despite the size and the weight very pleasant, nothing pinches or suppressed. I used to always get with metal strips rash, with this one not. The crown is screwed, I'm assuming that it is in accordance with waterproof, I have not tried it though. The floor is very nice decorated, the place is not so frequently. The readability is compared to the silver version better because the contrast between the dial and hands is greater. The afterglow in the dark is good, but too short. The Gigandet G 2 are (like many others) in style of famous role models of R .... x held. This design pattern was characteristic for almost all diving watches, even the Icewatch plastic is based on this style. I personally like it very well and I did not feel as "Replica", zumals these watches have quite beautiful quirks, like the second hand with brand emblem, the floor ... But this is a matter of taste. Who wants an R x ..... they should buy stop. The automatic movement is running long enough and been very reliable, a beautiful, classy and expensive-looking clock that I wear a lot. If these clocks are too large and bulky, I recommend the Orient 5 Deep AUTO POWER, minimal expensive, original from Japan, also with super quality. My Orient copy runs a little more closely: 1 min + within one month. Even my Tutimas not run so well. In summary, I can say: + Great workmanship, beautiful design + Good work with sufficient accuracy + Good bracelet (tweaks not) with secure clasp and comfortable to wear - Despite automatic it will probably be difficult to get spare parts at a watchmaker, but that's just a guess, but replacement is then also not expensive. - Illumination in the dark too short
