Addition: So slowly I can the way 65 no longer hear the many reviews and Aufreger the noise performance of the Sony Alpha 77 and Alpha in terms of whining. Compare photos (eg [...]) at 1600 ISO revealed that the Alpha 65 Although the picture size in the same setting values rushes itself over as the Alpha 57, but since the Alpha 65 now 24 megapixels and the alpha the image quality of the 65er at 1600 ISO 1 imaging comparison still a Tucken better than the Alpha 57 in Photoshop !!: 57's only 16 megapixels, is after 1
That everyone likes to try yourself by downloading the appropriate test patterns and (eg levels) the photos scaled same size in Photoshop, ie the '65 test image just shut off against the 16 MP of '57 and compares. Because only in the same magnification the photos indeed comparable. In addition, everyone can at the Sony 65 set the record in advance to 16 MP and a similar result for Sony 57 is obtained! So it is not true that the Alpha 57 is effectively in better image quality when noise performance with equally large pictures !! Unless you compare the noise performance necessarily very different great photos, but this is in practice largely nonsense! (The noise performance is only from ISO 3,200 worse since then, the A-57 in terms of quality in the lead - but who photographed ersthaft with such high ISO speeds, if one may so adjust automatic of the A-65 that 1600 ISO is the highest value and the time or aperture programs and a technical brightening her rest do). LENSES - an important issue!
At least my Sony 18-55 lens is also relatively sharp - and much better than its reputation! It's really just the 300-EUR-Tamron 17-50 qualitatively about the kit lens, I have three other tested, with whom I was not really satisfied. The Sony 18-55 is for films optimally when using Orginalton (because it is quiet and fast), the Tamron example is much louder ...
For people on a tight budget and high quality standards, I recommend the following lenses, which have a top price-performance ratio for me and deliver high-quality images:
Standard:
1.) kit lens Sony 18-55 - eg for tongerechten films -
and for entry-level macro friends - with this lens, you can select 1: approach only 12 cm distance from the object 4 reproduction ratio after all. This can be done 65 zoom back to the Sony Alpha digital still twice what fetches the object even closer ...
2.) Tamron AF 17-50mm 2.8 XR Di II LD ASL - shows the distance range from 1 to 20 meters depth and a super very own image style! Very nice! A very sharp lens!
; Ie = UTF8 & qid = 1355695684 & sr = 1-3
Telephoto:
3.) Tamron SP70-300 F / 4-5.6 Di USD Lens for Sony - for about 320 EUR (ie = UTF8 & qid = 1355695869 & sr = 1-3) - faster, sharper, qaualitativ quality, keeping with the much more expensive lenses in the picture quality loose with. Good Test results in scientific journals!
Portraits:
4.) Sony SAL50F18 1.8 / 50mm Sony SAM portrait lens - for 150 EUR
- Not so good to use for wide-angle or infinity shots - the best just for portraits! In this area the lens makes surprisingly good shots in professional quality. By low distortion faces remain nicely stable and are not affected by distortions as with a standard zoom lens. Good Test results in scientific journals!
Ultra-Weiwinkel:
5.) Tamron SP AF10-24mm F / 3.5-4.5 Di II LD Aspherical (IF) - the value for money of 320 EUR top !! Slight weakness in the chromatic aberration, but can otherwise keep up very well with the twice as expensive.
Travel Zoom:
6) Tamron AF 18-200mm F / 3.5-6.3 XR Di II LD Aspherical (IF) Macro (for Sony / Minolta) - 150 Euros for a good performance !!!
or
7.) Sony SAL-18135 (DT 18-135mm F3.5-5.6 SAM) - Travel Zoom for 370 EUR - super top it!
Macro lens:
8) Sigma 50mm F2.8 EX DG Macro Photo (for Sony / Minolta) - not as well suited for portraits and standard photos, but a strong macro lens for only 340 EUR.
Then there's a great choice not only by Sony, but also from Sigma and Tamron. For this purpose you study best and the trade press ...
Another tip: at ebay times old Minolta lenses for testing bid (Note: with O port for Sony, MD does not fit !!) and try - many of the old lenses are not bad at all! This includes the "White Giant" or the "stovepipe" of Minolta just like Article image
Minolta AF 50mm 1: 1.7 (22)
Minolta lens 80-200 mm, light giant (f 2.8)
Minolta AF Zoom 35-70mm f / 4 Macro
and other ancient treasures .. if you're lucky, you can get a good one. However, the speed is not as high as in the current Ojetiven which are often made of plastic and does not weigh as much, which is very convenient when the camera posture.
As far as my assessment!
The Sony SLT Alpha 65 you can buy safely with high quality standards as a professional or as a semi-pro and even as a beginner, you will not be disappointed. However, one needs just for some situations good lenses and should deal intensively with the functions of the camera in order also to exploit this! Happy with your new Alpha 65!
