We use the steak knife not only for meat but always when we need sharp knives and flawless cutting. The knives are truly hellish hot, in the dishwasher I ask this always with the blade downwards in the cutlery basket as I would otherwise have worried me to hurt accidentally foul on the blade!
The knives are always with us off particles in the dishwasher, so no hand wash. But they are still sharp as the day to recognize any quality defects also on the handle. And now after almost a year in daily use.
