Delta Machine is full of atmosphere, at hearing the first four titles I was even pleasantly surprised and would certainly forgive it 3 stars. Then I was there but with the constant intense complacency sometime enough and called forth a little boredom. I honestly had to be patient and interpretation will (unlike my Vorrezensenten) to find the true soul "quality" of the album. Something to heavy fare, so to speak, although the sound is quite bold and know to please the occasional minimalististischen Electro-sounds (although many like the old PC games sounds). The more often you hear the album, the more you can handle it, so my impression.
But music is now extremely subjective and a matter of taste. Likewise, as to the album overall quiet, too heavy and too little stirring, there will be people who are enthusiastic about it. I oute me as yesterday, sees the albums after the milestone "Violator" as a development that has less and less to do with the Spirit of yesteryear. My taste in music has always been versatile, I hear not only Synthiepop. But I need not be ignorant, just because I think the evolution of the band less Doll. Remarkably, there are the concerts, only the old songs that swept the crowd ...

Ok, the old genre is checked at DM, so you have to put up easy. Höralternative for all diehards synthpop fans like me: The Album of the Year "Automation Baby" by mesh.
