Very successful Best Of!

Maybe even the best "Best Of" I've ever heard. At that time, 3 when I was 15 years ago, this CD was my introduction to things WHO. But the reef at "I Can not Explain" hit me immediately from the stool. Then the hard, rough "Anyway Anyhow Anywhere" read really amazed me then that time already such Hardrock was made. Then when "My Generation" was I was already obsessed with the band. The reef, the text perfectly. That really extremely strong first 3 songs are, however, equal topped with song No. 4 "Substitute" I did not think. "I'm A Boy" was for me from the very beginning one of my favorites. The unusual "Boris The Spider" also rips immediately. The funny "Happy Jack" good mood high 10. "Pictures Of Lily" was me then when I heard it known. I just never that this so ingenious song by The Who's Wusse. "I Can See For Miles" is probably one of the hardest songs to the time and is very catchy. "Magic Bus" was then for these quite similar titles a little different and was therefore very surprising. But listening after the second time I had it then closed in my heart. "Pinball Wizard", a perfect song, typically Who. "The Seeker" is again very hard but for me until then the best song on the album. With "Baba O'Riley" then came a song with which I could not even make friends. However, now 2.5 years he's my favorite song. Also live an experience (was in Ulm and in Fulda at Who concerts). "Will not Get Fooled Again" is a bombastic rock song in a class. "Let's See Action" is awesome therefore with an acoustic guitar. Great effect! "5:15" However, is a song that can develop properly only on the album "Quadrophenia". In connection with the other songs of the rock opera he really comes across well. "Join Together" is another great song. "Squeeze Box" is one of the best songs of the later Who era from 1975. "Who Are You" ... the legendary theme song from CSI's just great. With "You Better You Bet" is an absolutely brilliant completion of a super compiled Best Of. Now, 3 years later had IHC least 25 Who CDs. And I must also say that I would have a Best Of designed only slightly differently now in retrospect. It provides an ideal overview of the entire body of work of The Who. Unlike many other "Best Ofs" or "Greatest Hits" you can really get a good insight about the band here to be sure.
