Has been tested with Technics RS-B665 and RS-BX646. Both technically in mint condition since overhauled. Of course, not comparable to the much more significant Akais or even the Nakamichis, but quite good to very good middle class. Was taken directly from the CD without EQ or other, with noise reduction turned off. I could compare it with the Sony UX-Pro, which are no longer produced today. The bias settings, I took over the RS-B665 as recommended for most CrO tapes (slightly lower level sensitivity), the RS-BX646 I let Automatically calibrating. With both devices I get results that can be compared to the old Sony UX-Pro. Of course, I can not like the pros with the aforementioned high-end devices, the last ounce of quality loading / condemn, but I keep the tapes for excellent. No tugging, oversteer and very very little noise! Incidentally, a side 34 minutes! It is "Made in Austria" on it, but could now also be produced in the Czech Republic. One does like ... For people like me who like to back a mixtape, à la High Fidelity (one of the best movies ever) want to produce, the absolute recommendation! I prefer to buy the when the old original packaged "treasures" in supposedly better quality. -How Have been stored in the last 10-20 years can not know it. I have only tested the C60 here. The C90 seems according to other reviews to be worse. But that was some manufacturers already in the 90's that. :) By the way: The faces of twentysomethings, which is pressed as souvenirs times a tape in the hand ... PRICELESS!
