Vista: Start difficulty Ubuntu: easily

The adapter is very small and light and can easily get stuck during transport in the laptop. The LED does not bother me personally. Range is (for me personally) in order (an estimated 5-6 meters with mobile, 1-2 meters with Bluetooth headset), however, might just a tad bit larger. Data rate is ~ 100 kB / s, or about 1/3 to 1/4 of the specified 3 Mbit / s (384 kB / s), but could also be on my phone (Nokia 6300) are (at the moment have no other Bluetooth IPMENT to compare there).

When connecting the stick under Vista, he has these automatically installed, but still wanted to have more drivers. So I had to download the Bluetooth stack from Toshiba on the Hama website. (Supplied driver mini CD thanks to the absence of evidence that this ever existed, completely overlooked;) The stack of Vista has the equipment been found but could not seem to deal with the phone.
Under Ubuntu (9:04) of the stick out-of-the-box has been detected. After quick and easy coupling with PIN I could instantly share files with my phone. A headset is also found immediately and coupled (manual configuration with minimal effort connected, but thanks to tutorial made easy).
