Visually appealing but scratchy

For those who want to install this towel rack on a door, I have to say that it consists of relatively thin / light stainless steel and the edges are slightly sharp. Before hooking you should paste the "inner surfaces" with a thin layer of felt to prevent scratches in the paint / wood of the door.

From the optics, I find him attractive and recommended for the price in any case.

Note:
I have these towel rails ordered with the intention and the hope of being able to adjust the width of a radiator (width 50cm). After I received it, I realized that this is possible not as readily as at the end of the stainless steel tubes threaded pieces are inserted, the end caps are screwed (aluminum).

There was a need to reduce the two stainless steel tubes, figure out the thread pieces to then firmly reinsert the shortened tubes. Using a metal and a little craftsmanship I've done it and was able to adjust the towel rail for the radiator (s. Kundenbilder).
