Only with an old brown inherited from my late father. That went pretty well ... but the battery was gone no more to replace and. So I then bought myself a new Brown of the 5 Series. And that was first of all a bitter disappointment: instead of the hoped-for technological progress, the result was sobering: the new Braun takes a lot longer, is less thorough and louder. Since I'm a lot on business trips, I have therefore still indulged in a second razor (the brown shaved only at the hotel): namely the Philips SensoTouch 2D.
I think that the results based on the individual requirements (strength of the beard growth, Hautemfindlichkeit etc.) can not generalize, but I'm much more satisfied with the Philips. He is (for me!) Much more thorough and skin-friendly. And much quieter! And in the same price range !!!
Tip: Since I use a good pre-shave, shave it even easier by the hand! And a skin care product after shaving should be anyway required! I am beigeistert of Lab Series (pre-shave) and Bulldog (aftershave lotion). Both absolute top products, which can be used very well with sensitive skin.
