I do not use the dish for the microwave (do not have), but primarily stored hygienically to leftover food in the fridge or a lunch for the next day kept. basically an acceptable product, but: the glass plate is of heavy quality, not for children. the tabs of the cover are very sluggish both when closing and opening. For this you need quite a bit of force. Children get the lid off hardly. when the cover is necessary to pay close attention on it that the cap lugs just touch the edge. closing is always the purest fumbling. I would buy the plate with this cover not again.
