As can also be seen in the photo is one of the cables at right angles from the AC adapter: This is the predestined wear instead of Dell power supplies - especially for frequent transport. A damage right there was also the reason that I needed a new one. Because the identification runs in the shell until the pin on the circular connector, the battery will not charge even when seemingly superficial damage. Too bad that this vulnerability remains.
