I want before I start my own review, to respond to some points even be criticized here by other users.
* ODOR *
Yes the smell is something present, but flies use after a few hours. Sometimes I wonder what people expect here. If the unit smell like strawberry cake when you get it out of the box? So let's be honest. One can smell the chalk when he is still so strong present after more than 2 weeks, but not if you have just taken it fresh out of film.
* Drivers *
Many have written here that they had problems with the driver installation or the driver itself, I can confirm in any way. In my opinion, one of the easiest installations that I've ever done. Connect device via a USB cable to the computer, wait briefly until the bottom of the taskbar area, the equipment installation of Windows is carried out and if it was completed just interject the driver CD in the order volume is of course included and follow the instructions -> easy.
The driver itself is actually the true strength of the tablets. There can be countless predefined functions allocated to all keys that has the tablet and the pen has to offer. Of course you can also easily define its own "macros". Tenderness and various other settings are also available. + Very clear at this point!
* PEN TIPS *
Yes, the pen-tip that only minor shortcoming which is why I also, unfortunately, have to deduct a star. The wear of the tips below really something rapidly vorran I can confirm that. It has often been criticized that it is up to the rough canvas of the Tablets. For my taste, the surface is very rough and not at all, but I have to say that I have no comparison here because the Wacom Intuos is my first characters per tablet. Possibly it is because of the used material from the tips but that's just a guess. After all, Wacom has thought something here and has Ersatzspitzen ready set (located in the pen holder aufdrehbar). For the price but you can expect the same :-).
* Workflow *
Working with the Tablet is a real relief. By generously distributed hot key (8 in number) + the radial wiping menu you can save great deal of time here by there's shortcuts so sets as a like best. Of course, this is initially a little chaos, but since you can get the one time or another with the buttons at once. However you get once you touched one of the keys a short sidebar on your screen to be displayed, where you can see wonderful, what keys you have with which functions "connected".
* WIRELESS KIT *
The wireless kit is a great thing and is the "Cable Method" in every way. The installation of the 3 - component is described very simply and well. This should therefore constitute garkein problem for 99% of users. The transmission is 1a I could not find the smallest transmission error or transmission dropouts so far. Again, from my strong +!
* OVERALL IMPRESSION *
I now for a few days working with the tablet and am very excited. It's just fun so his creativity to run wild. As mentioned above facilitate the shortcut keys work immensely. The device feels very valuable and has a pleasant weight, it's too hard neither too light nor. What I particularly like about the design of the tablet is the matte surface. There is in my opinion nothing worse than devices that have a piano finish. Precisely because it is often touched by hands, the matte surface is a very good choice.
