As the pages are going to follow the peregrinations of the Bridegroom Stork through the island Left course, but also the island of Silence and the Island of Truth! What a program! "The island of Left" is a book that delighted me from beginning to end, without a dull page, which surprised me myself! Everything is there: finesse of style, subtle humor (= English); more behind the apparent ease of the theme of the story lies an original story and very well documented, up to provide a statistical annex on the archipelago left-handed! Alexandre Jardin roundly our emotional barriers and touches the goal every time! It proves once again if need be he is not the author of "Fanfan" and that he belongs to the race of old. Sure, we can certainly blame him for having always confined to a single theme, but this is a characteristic common to all the must-authors, they have dedicated their work to an ideal, which is assuredly the case.
Finally I must make a confession: the end I caused a rise of tears. I am ashamed because few books have produced such an effect on me!
