Consider the following scenario: fax server should be 2012R2 (64bit) a Hyper-V Windows Server; Problem with virtual machines: No hardware can be installed (missing PCI bus for AVM B1 card) This problem should be solved by means of USB device server via (Silex) this external ISDN modem. The USB connection to the modem managed automatic updates of Windows Server 2012, however, have found nothing. A friendly staff of AVM then told me that the last of these modems from AVM was built in 2007, and therefore already END OF SUPPORT ARE !!! Conclusion: Although your buys a "new device", which has however left the band at AVM before 8 (!!) years. I wonder what kind of a trader actually holds the (thankfully) soo long virgin at the camp ....
