Warning: With the Sony Alpha 58 is not compatible!

This little remote control plus spare CR2025 button cell has been offered so sensationally reasonably priced that I have risked it. The delivery was prompt. The manual in Pigeon English is not really necessary. But it contains a tabular overview Compatibility for all camera brands. For Sony cameras are just the Sony Alpha 100, the Sony NEX series and "ect" listed, which is probably "etc." you mean. Not very helpful. I still give it 4 stars because I an incompatible part - my mistake! - Can not vote down.

Addendum on 02/24/2014: Following the favorable upgrade to the Sony Alpha 77 II came the Alpha Remote advantage. Here, the remote control must be switched on before the camera's menu. The display of this is then a small icon to see which recalls that the camera "on receipt" is. Perhaps the Zehr on battery. (The Manual of the camera is silent, unfortunately, out.)
