The remarks are the same as for Load, although this album is more homogeneous and less hand in all directions. Fuel reminds us that it's still a Metallica album. The Memory Remains is a very good title underestimated because of the field in the middle but that captures live when it is the public who sings. Devil's Dance is huge despite a battery not very inspired and recording in stereo missed and unnecessary. The Unforgiven 2 is beautiful at first but quickly becomes boring, Better Than You is boring from the start, Slither deluded with his riff to AC / DC. Carpe Diem Baby is exceptional: it sounds like Black Sabbath. Bad Seed lets listen politely (the medium is a bit weird). Where The Wild Things Are is a disaster (the background is key). Fortunately, the group notes with Prince Charming, slap that is good (it's been so long). Low Man's Lyrics is too long even though the idea was good. Attitude is classic (too?) And fortunately much Fixxxer ends the album. Too many ideas badly exploited again. I think Metallica would be better leaving out one single album from 12 to 14 titles. Malgrè these criticisms, I must say I like Load and Reload because it is still the masters Hetfield, Ulrich, Hammett and Newsted playing on these albums. Also, I do not spit on Metallica as some (too) because they still wrote 5 albums of legends and for that reason alone they deserve the respect of all forever.
