Felix, Sheba and Whiskas have pretty much every known scrap as feed, which deals with the importance of the ingredients and their consequences for cats. Rule of thumb in animal feed: Who advertises its products and sold in the supermarket, is to be regarded with skepticism.
Here's a short explanation of why Felix most cats although totally great flavor, but is absolutely not good for them. To see why, one should know what is behind the words on the ingredient list. Meat and animal by-products: good food contains at least 60-70%, the meat and on the package as well. Here only 4% are actually meat, the rest being potentially from animal by-products. So what are animal by-products exactly? Quite simply wastes that are not approved for human consumption and therefore does not fall (hooves, horns, fur, feather, beaks ...) under the provisions of the food industry. In addition, not all carcasses used fresh, and also, of course, sick animals are processed, so that among other things, carcinogenic tissue is in the can. Problem in addition to the sordidness: A small fraction of animal by-products is okay, but a high proportion of Schwerverdaulichem as hair and hooves is a big burden on the metabolism of the cat and can eventually lead to indigestion and organ damage. One reason why cats wet food, which consists mainly of waste, like to eat anyway, is the addition of attractants that need not be declared. Attractants ensure the acceptance of food, the cats would reject otherwise and create a feeding urge on hunger addition - practically like chips or fast food. Benefits:
+ The higher cost per can pay off through lower required amount of feed

+ Reduced risk of obesity, digestive problems or organ damage.
High quality food is therefore better bottom line for animal and owner and I can only recommend selling the trash in cans, the manufacturers like Felix, Sheba Whiskas or as feed, permanently deleting the feeding plan.
