I am many years an absolute DEFEA fan - there is no better in this size bag from Kipling.
However, I am now a bit confused - Maybe someone can help me - at the customer service Amazon can become such a problem hardly helped any because the staff do not present the articles to view.
Following: I have more DEFEA bags. All three have pen pockets inside and are both attached Rigs lined.
Yesterday I got my new Amazon DEFEA in turquoise - blue Turqu (at a great price) and found out that this only a pen pocket and has also the leader with the attached tray is no longer fed with Velcro flap.
Here, as on the Kipling-page, three-pin fan called.
I recently ordered in a teleshopping channel the Kipling New Europe in two colors - and realized that even here the patch Leaders are no longer fed and there is only one pen pocket here. The pockets are shortened and the larger pocket has no fold - is simply sewn smooth.
Also I bought last year 2 Kipling morika's - there, the Leaders were also not fed and the zipper, which is actually used for the zipped inner pocket, was used for the proximal exterior pocket - not the more expensive industrial zippers. This is now at more than Kiplingtaschen. There are also such. B. in the patterned / coated DEFEA and Europe New, a new, patterned lining, which feels rougher and very plastic moderately raschelig.
The quality generally has partially fallen sharply in Kipling: Hanging threads, after seven days wearing an open seam, blatant Nähfehler etc. in morika.

If someone has bought from you now a DEFEA (plain) it would be nice to tell me whether it also merely a pen pocket and this unlined front compartment are with you.
Here, as in the description directly on the Kiplingseite, three-pin fields are not specified.
I am now just confused whether in my pocket something is wrong, or now the Kipling-saving measures have also started in the DEFEA - what would really be a crying shame. This DEFEA ordered, as well as the New Europe have apparently new, rectangular cardboard pendant in white and pink with Kiplingschriftzeichen, a few monkeys on it and are mounted with white fabric ribbon with pink Plastiknupsi to the bag. Until late last year, I know two signs, one of them heart-shaped.
Otherwise changed over the years actually only that the smaller pocket has no more elastic and Henkel have become a bit longer.
From this story aside, the DEFEA is just awesome. A pleasing Bowlingbagform that delicate and smaller acts (also z. B as the New Europe), than it actually is.
In this bag fit tons - and all very well organized in many subjects. Here I always know immediately where everything can be found.
Once listed, for those who are interested, what alone can only fit in the main compartment: Two cosmetic bags, of a greater, a thick wallet, key bag, thick Filofax, 2 pack. Tempos, 2 pack Ref. Cigarettes, hairbrush, 150ml bottle contact lens solution, really big spectacle for big sunglasses and, at the practical lanyard with carabiner, even an extra bunch of keys - and there would still be some space. And then there are still the whole additional pockets ........
Even in the lateral outer Chen with Velcro, which are thus not placed and practically invisible, fits into a lot.
And even if the bag is packed, you never have the feeling of wearing a pad at the hip - felt like that with the New Europe was the case for me (also fits into the DEFEA more into it). Even with the Jarita, also a bag pocket as the Europe, I had this feeling-Klotz. The DEFEA wears just super pleasant.
The formerly shorter Henkel I personally found better. They were not designed for shoulder carry, but since the hard-packed bag z. B. in the car is the most unhappy in the long strap, they are quick to grasp just perfect. The now slightly longer Henkel may well carry only very slim women over his shoulder. However, I find the person not bad - in morika there are these longer Henkel and constantly twist - they too vernudeln with the long strap.
I can in any case only hope that this bag holds back - so all I do not trust the quality of Kipling namely. Again, just hang back thread ends and the monkey is not processed so great.
A weak point of the Kiplingtaschen for me is the (coarse woven - there are now other) belts. Although this is relatively non-slip, the adjuster is working smoothly and holds on tight, but the belts are rubbelig after a relatively short time, which at hellleren colors even more striking.
Tip: The bags can be washed in the World Cup (in the laundry bag, 30 ° C, with little or no spin). However, this should only be done in older bags because you lt otherwise. Kipling loses the warranty.
Now that I have got my first Kipling almost 26 years ago, so I'm a fan of the first hour.
I can only hope that Kipling again recalls its quality standards and sets the austerity measures urgently.
Otherwise, especially long and deep customers at prices which were also increased in recent years (the DEFEA eg by 10, -.), Probably annoyed look into the distance. Because that is then no relation more.

Had now a day still called Amazon my review - it should be sent to the warehouse is a request, I should get to Friday, 10:09, decision -. I have but only much later. Did it called on Tue again. An employee then has spoken directly to the warehouse, the staff had probably also in my color (turq blue) in his hand - it should be three-pin fan. So exchanged pocket. Yesterday I now get the new - again only a pen tray. So called again. The first staff unfriendly: I should return the bag and buy from the manufacturer - really nice. However, the second lady could not help me, but wanted to again send a request to the warehouse - do I now wait until Monday. However, it is probably nothing come of it. Find this quite sad because the description not true.
I think now that there is now a new version, with this very new, as described above, rectangular plate, there.
These, probably new versions (as well as the above-described New Europe, also "new" sign) appears Kipling so now to actually save even further - and I find that in prices, coupled with the deteriorating quality, an impertinence.
A customer wrote to me in the meantime (see comment) namely, that its three, resurrected since 2012 Defeas still have three pen pockets, but again said leader is already unlined.
In the now exchanged DEFEA both belt holders are already sewn wrong - as with my morika's.
So dear Kipling fans: Remove the rose-colored glasses, all the bags very closely and, above all, carry, equal and see if something breaks.

The bags, which have been prepared in autumn 2013 have only one pen pocket.
Therefore bags previous seasons have three pen holders, younger models have only one.
It is therefore in your order is not a plagiarism, but merely to a newer model.

In Zalando the inner workings of bags is good to see, even the new, patterned (unpleasant) feed into the new bag colors, which, already been writing me above, was known from Europe New.
Here only 1 pen holder is everywhere to see - except for espresso brown - this color there costs now 89.90 with three pen pockets - funny.
The thing with the one unfed leader was not explained - but probably one of the actual saving measures.
Now I am happy on the one hand, to have actually received an original for a very reasonable price (annoyed that I still have not bought at least one color in OFFERS ON.) - Find these austerity measures (as well as the deteriorating quality) at Kipling nevertheless impossible. This long-standing customers are really scared angry and possibly.
