Do you really need a new AC / DC live album? The last publication of this kind is 20 years ago, at that time with the brave Chris Slade. Here we would have the first argument for the existence of this live disc: Strain drummer Phil Rudd hammering here through the set, like clockwork, dry as a bar after a visit from old Bon. The blends in better overall in the AC / DC Gesamtkunstwerk, and there are memories of the legendary "If you want blood ..." awake. The second reason: the audience. The sing with even the input chords of the songs and give the appearance so that a more than festive atmosphere. To say it with Brian Johnson: Gracias! The third reason: You will no longer make it well as long, the old gentlemen. After "Black Ice" album that completes the career of AC / DC from worthy (I, however, would not mind another studio album and a subsequent "small" world tour - could indeed rumored 2013 reality). The sound is excellent. The guitars crisp drums deafened fine, Johnson croaks and creaks, it's a pleasure. The song selection is fine: A rich blend of the classics and some new material. Especially "Big Jack" from "Black Ice" album unfolds live its whole weight. Of course, AC / DC are not exactly known for surprises in the set list, and you would have quite a few gems such as "Hard as a Rock", "High Voltage" or "Gone Shootin 'desired, but you can not always get what you want ,
Let it short: Highly recommended for fans a must buy for newcomers because of "Best of" character and the irrepressible energy of an AC / DC live performance. From me five stars for each of the old heroes one.
