The sixth and final book in the saga of Jean AUEL is even more disappointing that the 5th. 680 pages to say what could have been condensed into 250 pages. No action, rehearsals to no end, endless presentations, which are renewed after 10 pages, a multitude of characters uninteresting mixture that blithely as their names are similar, visits to caves that are repeated, giving the printing flipping the Blue Guide ... The action begins in the last 50 pages of the book, but only for replay ridiculous psychodrama of "mammoth hunters" when Ayla and Jondalar spend their time missed opportunities to settle their dispute retarded teenagers ... and of course, still many herbal teas, dried meat soups and wet babies ... This is perhaps the tome too in a series which I had read the first episodes with such enthusiasm (there was 25 years that ...)
