Weak wireless receiver encounters an otherwise good Tablet

I bought the tablet, as it was very promising from the technical data forth and Visually not bad looks (though a matter of taste). Previously, I had a Medion Lifetab E10312, which I certainly have returned because the HDMI output was broken. Every now and then I will therefore compare to this draw.

First the good points of the tablets:
The screen brings a good picture and sufficient brightness, the viewing angles are more than fine. Reaction is good, 10 fingers are detected simultaneously. Part it is somewhat sensitive, but what you used to it quickly.
Positive surprises have me out the speaker, the device has stereo front speakers which emit a quite useful and good for Tablet conditions are sound and sufficient volume. Whoever therefore wants to listen to Internet radio or even YouTube videos look, so do not necessarily need to connect additional speakers. Also, the headphone output is good and no noise again (Medion was at or even with my old Lenovo A1 is not the case), who would therefore use the device multimedia is here in good hands.
The performance is very good, much better than in the whole dual-core devices with 1 GB RAM or Cortex-A7 quad-core devices. With the default browser load web pages as fast as on a PC and in most cases, flawlessly presented, also also Flash is preinstalled, which is, however, officially no longer being developed and it thus also want the performance unsatisfactory.
Even with the other applications convinced the device with regard to the performance. Even with many open applications, the device can not get a sweat, so the quad core does a good job.
The build quality is fine, but not perfect. The instrument (at least mine) has innately minimal quirks on the housing, which do not interfere, however, somewhere must be saved.
The device is rooted what some Additional functions of the house, but also requires control - I highly recommend this app SuperSU. If you want to avoid advertising can for example get ABP.

But unfortunately the negative things:
Wireless reception - the main concern of the unit. Contrary to the claims in some reviews is the back without a doubt made of metal, probably aluminum, what feels good, but apparently ensures that the wireless reception suffers.
Practical relevance to my example, this means that the router is one floor below and with all devices I have in the whole upper floor of medium to good reception - the worst is the place where my PC is, as I have but still a bar (with a smartphone , the Medion or my notebook). The tablet has only the room is not in the lower midfield to right above the router good reception and in all the other present. If it has received, the bandwidth is usually limited. On my bed to come from just 16000er DSL 1500 kbit / s, 300 Mbit despite wireless (from the router).
For surfing the reception still is often enough - if it now goes to the download of apps the watch YouTube videos, however, you realize clearly the weak bandwidth. It is simply not possible for me, without falter to play YouTube videos (except in the space above the router), and there will I often use the tablet for watching YT videos on the bed thus unfortunately almost useless for this purpose.
Even in college, where I want to use the tablet more frequently weakens the wireless chip and it usually takes a while until he found the strongest reception AP, have its own AP outside the rooms but the flimsy bandwidth again evident during my Smarphone (Galaxy S3) has no problems. The playback of YouTube videos is with my other devices in the entire top floor no problem.

Also, the 3G is such a thing, I tried it times a day. The reception was okay, but every time you turn the tablet into standby mode and then wake again after a longer or shorter time, it needs to reconnect, which also first takes 60-90 seconds. The problem can perhaps fix (luckily it's already rooted), but significantly more battery is then probably need. Tried I did not. The attitude that the other modem and automatically turns off, has this condition, strangely enough, not changed. Thus, the 3G is useful for those who insert each time a longer session, but not for those who want only times now and then briefly look at something.
The battery life is noticeably worse than for example the Medion Tablet, but enough to arrive a day to make ends meet under normal circumstances.

Overall, the tablet so what facilities, performance and appearance has concerns leave a very good impression, the reception for wireless is however rather poor, which involves the whole tablet unfortunately down since it's pretty much the most important. Even 3G is not working properly as usual by phone.
I'd love to keep it, but this issue makes it unusable for me unfortunately. Of course I could still place a repeater, but this again cost extra and also still draws power, so is not really a perfect alternative.
Yet I submit a recommendation to buy, for all those who want to use with all other Wi-Fi devices at all locations at which the tablet very good wireless reception have, or would like the no video streaming. Even if you like to tinker with Android gets from me a recommendation, since it (no import) are no Technically better hardware for the money.

If Odys would ensure that the device has a slightly better Wi-Fi reception, there was a 5 Star Rating from me and I would be perfectly happy with the device ...

If anyone has any ideas on how to improve the reception just tell me. Otherwise I have to let it go back ...

Otherwise, I might wait a bit and then look my Archos 97b Platinum or Asus Memo Pad HD 10 to which both should appear the next few days. Unfortunately, the Asus has only one GB RAM, but is it a brand tablet, and the Archos does have 4: 3 (less optimal for videos, better for surfing), but offers a high resolution ...
